Nidderdale Llamas
Bookings are essential for those wanting to trek or walk with the llamas and alpacas, see the
website below. There is a gift shop on site, but no café. For places to eat, Pateley Bridge is
close by. Dogs are not allowed on treks, though can be left in cars if suitably ventilated.

Whittakers Distillery
There is a café and gift shop on site and dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.
Bookings for tours and the whisky experience are essential and can be made on the website
below. Opening hours are from Wednesday to Saturday, but always check on line before

King Street Workshops
There is no café at the workshops, though there is plenty of choice nearby in Pateley
Bridge for cafes, pubs and restaurants. Public toilets can be found in Pateley Bridge at
Soutlhands Car Park. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on leads.

Lime Tree Observatory
Dogs are not permitted on the site. There are toilets 50 metres from the observatory in
a nearby farm building. Bookings are essential and can be made via the website below.
The teaching room of the observatory is accessible by wheelchairs, but the main telescope
in the observatory is not accessible. There is no café on site but there are pubs nearby in
surrounding villages.
